The National Reconstruction Alliance Party of Kenya (NRA) has urged young people across all political parties to desist from being used in fighting each others but rather unite for sake of economic emancipation.
While addressing media in Nairobi, the party Vice Chairman Riziki Dunstan told youths to unite and fight for each other welfares rather than fighting each other.
“As a party we want to encourage young people across all political parties not to fight each other but have a unity of ideas for their prosperity,” said Riziki
Riziki said NRA had been founded with a sole purpose of ensuring youth, women and people with disability actively participate in politics that supersedes greed and selfishness as portrayed by the current crop of leaders.
Riziki said NRA will visit all parts of the country to ensure its members are able to come together and plan for their future and next generation.
“Kenya suffers from a malady of bad, visionless leaders who are plunging and entire generation into abyss, we will not be part of this Mess, we have to save our generation,we will do so through NRA,” said Riziki.
At the same time Riziki said the BBI content was good to a great extent though the proponents of the document need to bring others on board and fine tune what was not acceptable.
He observed that the party was not in a hurry to form the next Government as it was focused on the future.
The party is not allied to any political party,however several presidential candidates have already approached the party in a bid to strike a deal.
“It’s time to relook our industrial policies to protect our fragile industries from products from already industrialised nations, as a nation we need to industrialise not as a clarion call or political rhetoric but by fact to be able to reduce poverty and unemployment ,”observed Riziki .
The party's "mwamko mpya" slogan was chosen to stir up Kenyan youths as it considers 2022 elections to be a new Dawn for the youths.
The party leaders urged youths to wake and take part in politics for the betterment of the nation.
“It is time to relook at our debt, as a country we are sinking further and overburdening the unborn generation of young people with a debt that is being plundered and devoured by soul-less men and women in leadership positions,” he noted
Party Secretary General Amemba Magufuli said they intend to bring a paradigm shift in the manner in which politics are being done in the country.
“As a party (NRA) given a chance we are ready to scour this great country to the minnow league of youth, women and PWD mainstreamed governments in Africa,its time to rescue our republic from those who have hijacked to enrich themselves ,we can do it if we come together with a purpose,” noted Magufuli.
According to Magufuli NRA is no experiment nor something hastily cobbled together under the guise of selfish interest to form a political vehicle for politicians in the upcoming general election.
“NRA is a party for the present and the future, this is party we expect to serve the next generationa party anchored on the principle of integrity, honesty, respect of the rule of law,” he added.
Magufuli said the party currently has over 5,000 members in each county adding that during the rigorous registration process of the party, the officials travelled at length and listened to their grievances.
“As a party we intend to create a people centred party, a party with a sound grassroot structure, a party that values the common man in the village,” said Magufuli.
Magufuli said Kenya is a rich country but lacks leaders who can deliver service since most of them corrupt and have been squandering national resources.
He promised that as a party they won't tolerate any form of corruption either in government level.
The party we will advocate and ensure 15 percent of the national budget is allocated to agriculture at all levels moreso in the areas of research, innovation, mechanisation, manufacturing and marketing of agro products.

The NRA dream is anchored on the three pillars of youth inclusion in governance and politics, poverty eradication through agriculture and industrialisation and economic emancipation through advocacy of the policy infrastructure.
The party intend to establish a National Reconstruction Alliance Leadership Training Institute that shall be open to all people in kenya with an objective of Training leaders.
