Sonko sanitization booths destroyed again

Just a day after Sonko Rescue team secured a Court order barring police from interferring with the team's effort to fight COVID-19 including stopping destruction of sanitizers booths in various public place,police in Muthurwa have destroyed a sanitizer booth.

The booth was  serving traders and customers in the Market in abid to help control the deadly virus.

According to Sonko Rescue Team Operation Head Francis Musyoki,the booth was destroyed at around 10PM Wednesday night by police.

There were no reasons given during the demolitions.

SRT headed to Court to stop destruction of sanitizer booths after 3 of them were destroyed at Kencom bus stage,Kibera and Buruburu.

After High Court ruling, the Sonko Rescue Team went back to many city estates in an effort to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.

Sanitizer booths were immediately set up at Kawangware Stage 2 area to help in stopping spread of the virus in the area which has since been described as a red zone.

Other booths have already been installed  at Gikomba market, Machakos Country Bus, Korogocho, Muthurwa area and Buru Buru estate.

In his messages Sonko has continously appealed to Nairobians to adhere to all the precautionary measures as outlined by the Ministry of Health in order to win the fight against coronavirus.
